LETTERS FROM GERMANY

I often make reference to the “Queen Bee” in many works and “she” has become a frequent muse in my lexicon as an artist. In 2015 I made a trip to Esslingen, Germany where I visited a friend and beekeeper Kathrin. The works here represent our correspondence leading up to my sojourn in emails sent back and forth. I also created several works for an exhibition held at her home. As you will see in some of these works I utilized wax. A special thank you to the “Queen Bee” in Germany.
